The Shawnee Trail Church of Christ exists to do the will of our Lord Jesus Christ and our heavenly Father. Our Vision Statement exemplifies the vision of Jesus when he said, "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life." (John 8:12) The vision of Shawnee Trail Church of Christ is to reflect the light of Jesus and follow his word when he said, "You are the light of the world." (Matthew 5:14)
Who we are and Where we are going
We are disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ. We love God with all our heart, soul, and strength; and we love our neighbors.
A church that is relevant to the community - a church that is effectively sharing the Good News of salvation led by Shepherds (Elders) and served by Deacons as outlined in the New Testament.
We serve the God of the universe as we disciple all peoples and continually strive to restore ourselves to the ideals of New Testament Christianity.
As a result of the saving work of Jesus, we are heaven bound by grace and mercy of our God and Savior.
A church that is planting churches in this area and beyond with people from among our own membership who have been equipped for this purpose.

Our Mission Statement reflects our desire to follow God's word every day to reach our vision of being a light in the community. Our commitment is to disciple all people and share the Good News of Salvation through Jesus Christ in a loving, caring way.
Our daily Mission to pursue our Vision
Our Sunday assemblies edify our membership; serve to inspire our guests to a life of service and commitment to God; glorify our God with worship that is done with the heart conforming to New Testament ideals; and focus on the sacrifices of Jesus Christ by remembering Him through weekly communion.
Effectively equipping in Bible, Ministry and Christian-life skills through educational programs for all ages and through the Bible Institute.
A vibrant children's ministry where children are enthusiastically learning about God and growing in their desire to serve Him for a lifetime.
Small groups of 6-12 adults meeting weekly in homes (CORE groups) that share the Gospel in word and deed to their community and meet the needs of each member.
A Youth Group that is God-centered and looks to the examples of Jesus Christ for service ministries
A Benevolence Ministry that expresses our love for our neighbors and all those in need.
